      I have switched from ATI HD2600Pro to NVidia Geforce8500GT coz i can't use hardware acceleration due to ATI's openGL driver problem.. Now im happy with my 8500GT... 😍

      Take it from my experience some ATI drivers are not 100% compatible with SU. πŸ˜‰

      Hi! These will help some people or even me aware of certain problems will occur regarding compatibility of sketchup and your computer hardware... And to have some good idea in choosing the right components in building your own PC.

      My 1st Unit:
      Core2 Duo E4400 OC @ 2.2GHz
      60Gigs HDD
      2Gigs DDR2 Ram
      256MB Palit HD2600 Pro Sonic VideoCard
      Comment:
      -Cant use Hardware Acceleration due to selection bug.
      -can handle high polygon model but quite slow importing some decent 3ds models
      -slow response on panning or zooming

      My 2nd Unit:
      Toshiba L35 Laptop
      Celereon 1.6 Ghz
      512mb DDR2 Ram
      ATI Radeon Xpress 200m Graphics
      Comment:
      -Can use hardare acceleration
      -quite good response on panning or zooming..
      -so slow in importing med-high poly models
      -Cannot handle very high polygon models
