The approach Anssi explained is how most of us deal with the linework. Its nice to have very thin black lines, but not the the massively thick ones. So exporting extra large and then downsizing in Photoshop is a great tip. It makes for a much crisper export image. Hope your're getting somewhere on this, the model looks good.

Hi Joejoejoe, hi folks.

A trick I find usefull when tracing over an image is to make sure that I have not enabled "Length snapping" in Preferences --> Model Info --> Units.

In fact, I never use that feature.

This allows more precise placement of endpoints for lines and arcs wich are the tools I use the most for tracing an image. The "Arc" Tool is quite powerfull since you can start a new arc at the end of the preceding one and get a "Tangent" inference to make nice smooth transitions from arc to arc. LAter, I come back and optimise the number of segments to lower the model size. Shallow arcs, usually, can get by with fewer segments.

Note that the render was made in 3D Studio and not by me but by a company; H2G2.hu (not a meaningful website because they are under construction but I shouldn't say a word either with mine 😄 )

Since these models are not current ones, they cannot get onto the 3D layer of GE.

I think I have screwed up something with that mausoleum however because it seems to be out of scale yet they included it into the final, 3D Layer soo I now finally have a blue badge! 😄
