i really dont know how long it took coz it wasnt a one whole sitting affair.. but i like to say maybe some 4 hours??? besides my comp isnt the best u know.. had to suffer two hangups and consequent system restarts! LOL.. thank heavens for the autosave function!!!

thanx kris.. its 60 years of independence now.. all the local channels are playin the national songs and anthems.. parades out in the streets.. but i was just at home today.. relaxing, enjoyin the holiday!

and the model over SU screen technique was ivicas idea... pretty neat eh???

today was Independence Day here in India.. i had nothin better to do.. so i decided to model something not architectural... its my first non archi model so please be kind ... oh and this thing is high poly.. i always wanted to do some high poly stuff!!!

glad to hear that u like my model.. please do use it in ur models.. nothin else would make me a happier man!!;) and thank u for the offer.. i shall definitely rem it!! i use kerky a lot and like i said i should try to render this with it some time.. (only if i could get some time... LOL)
i have only used SU and before that acad to model my buildings.. i must admit. this mannequin model could have been made in 3dsmax or blender like in one quarter of the time.. but i prefer it the SU way! lol.. i am sure monsterzero would agree with me there! its a whole lot more fun! besides i dont do much organic stuff anyway.. u could say SU i like a stress reliever.. (though it does have its moments of frustration!! )

and ross.. thanx for that wonderous offer.. i just simply love tuna.. if ur in india ever especially my part of the country make sure u get urself of a wonderful houseboat on the backwaters of Allepeye and a sompoutous south Indian food with fried kingfish in bananna leaves.. yea we still love to eat on leaves.. LOLZ!
oh and ross... thanx for all those wonderful SU tips and techniques.. ive learned quite a lot from u!

ok.. i think i am addicted to modeling all things non archi! this was a fun lil project.. i saw solos podium render and saw that wooden mannequin.. and there it was... INSPIRATION!

took some 4 hours total.. as always not in one stretch though... (short attention span!:P)
oh and i added some control points so u can pose him in what ever manner! so get him in ur best pose! (not easy to do so.. i had trouble doin it!)
and and mind u this is again high poly.. my time with kerkythea has taught me that low poly models render like crap! i might render this some day, some month, some year,... haha!!!
