hey. i just got my grade for the said project. (drumroll please) an A++++. yes thats right, four plusses. i got 106 out of 100 points. <insert kool-aid guy esque "oh yah!" here>

yep remus, just a ball on a mirror. they reflect eachother inot infinity, but we only see part of it. really cool looking.

im going to try at making something in the Steampunk style. watch me fail. if you dont know what Steampunk is, search it on google images and wikipedia. its really insanely cool.

Dream Theater is a great band if your a musician and understand complex musical concepts. for example, one of their songs is in 5:8 time. that is sooooooooo insanly hard to play (im a drummer with about 5 years experience). the vocals are sometimes... bleh. but the music is the most amazing stuff you will ever hear. all of the musicians in that band are absolute MASTERS at their instrument of choice.

if you havent already figured this out, im a huge Dream Theater fan.

no remus, i have not been convinced of its brilliance yet. im simply waiting patiently for podium 2.0
this is simply my training for setting up scenes for light refaction and all that.

and i really wish everyone would stop compltely freaking out about global warming! i mean jeez! worrying about it is only going to make it worse! why dont we all just calm down and accept that this might be a natrual fluctuation in the earth's tempature. and if thats not the case, take a chill pill and hop on your bike and get some CFLs for gods sake!

another thing that really pisses me off is mr. smarty-pants President Bush's "no child left behind" act. i could poke so many holes in that thing that when im done it would look like swiss cheese. to keep this post short, ill continue this in another post and leave it at this: the No Child Left Behind act is leaving our children behind.

im kind of a prog-meatal sort of guy, but ill throw in some emo and death metal every now and then. oh ya, and classic rock.

hey, boofredlay, if you want something w/o words, check out Stream of Consciousness, by Dream Theater. its a little bit heavier than is sounds like you would like, but its really melodic at the same time. you might like it.

the hillary/obama/McCain thing going on in the US right now. the first two are beating eachother up and not focusing on vital issues in the debates, and McCain doent even know how to work a computer!

the whole "hybrids are good for everything" thing. do your realize that the car makers only use that for selling cars? the hybrids are really inefficient: first they have to use heavy machinery (spewing CO2) to mine the lithium for the batteries, then its shipped on a CO2 spewing tanker over to china where its manufactured (using power derived from burning fossil fules) into batteries, then shipped by tanker again to the car manufacturing plant (using more power) and then finnaly trucked to the dealer on the CO2 emmiting machine that is the truck.

is that enough to make you stop driving your prius? plus, when those cars get thrown away, the battery decomposes over hundreds of years, all the while letting toxins seep into the ground water.

sorry if that was a little bit too heated. but there is way more where that came from.

Remus, the problem was that i didn't copy a certain folder to the indigo folder. I feel stupid now
I've run into a problem though, when I try to make something, say a sphere, out of glass, it ends up looking opaque black in the render. Any certain procedure I have to do? Thanks!

ray, your comment seems very ironic to me. i first started with rendering things form the warehouse, then i tought that people would get borred with the thread because i wasnt even rendering my own stuff, so i started making my own.
plus, its been a learning experience. i never would have learned what i have if i had just gotten stuff from the warehouse.

and now for something completely different: i just got indigo to work!!!!! (im sure remus is happy about this). and i mean litteraly just got it wo work, like in the last 2 minutes. im exited. as you can probably tell.

but, once podium 2.0 comes out, indigo goes out.
