I'm doing this on UK time so afternoon all, I am fairly sure there is an easy solution to this problem but for the life of me I cannot figure it out, I want to intersect a circular wall in such a way that the internal chord on an arch column is equal to the external chord, that is no "splaying" it is for a design, but I can get away with it as is, just looks messy", any help would be appreciated, I have thought of ellipses which may be the way to go but just to make it clear the height of the arch is the same both sides, what I need to do is make the inside "column" the same as the outside.
