Hello;
I have a need to rotate a cylinder that has been offset. Imagine the steering wheel on a car.
If I lay the protactor on the top and not colored red blue or green, how do I lock it down to this offset angle, before rotating ?
And as a prerequisite, how do I set a new axes on this offset ?
Thanks
(Sketchup 2017)

Hello, great idea, BUT when I tried to reduce the face count on many items, they only went up in face count.
Windows 11, SketchUp Make 2017.
Example: Used a simple vehicle (Jeep.skp) with 7537 faces. Tried to reduce to 4000. Ended up with more faces.
