    • Is it possible to create solid model?

Hi, folks. My name is Gilson and I'm delighted with the power of the sketchUp. I want to be an expert to transform imaginations in models.

I know that SketchUp deals with edges and surfaces. However, how can I show the model as a solid? is there a trick for that?

The following example clarify my question: My model has two solid boxes - with different colors - one inside the other but they appear in SketchUp like two empty boxes. I want to see solid section of internal parts. I tried the section plane tool and when I moved that tool I saw the big box's internal walls and the small box. In summary, I would like to see only the surface of the big solid box before touch the small solid box and when the section plane tool passes into both solid boxes I want to see both surfaces.

      thanks,

      Gilson
