The last one was mine. The script doesn't exist (yet), and I've had the same idea for a script, just hadn't gotten around to making it reality.

      Hey Rick,

It's nice to hear that you and others think it would be a useful tool for program layout. I'll check in once in a while to see if you can find time to make it a reality.

      Peace.

    • Sq/ft tool

      Hi,

I had my 1st post here yesterday, but I guess it got lost in server backup hell.

The question was for a tool that would allow users to make a rectangle extruded 3D shape and lock the sq/ft. With the sq/ft locked, one could push the "X" plane and the adjacent "Y" plane would automatically pull in to retain the sq/ft. Hence a 100 sq/ft 10' x 10' cube when pulled 12'-6" on one plane would automatically pull the other plane to 8'-0"

Some responses were that "it would be a helpful tool!", "why would you need that?", "shouldn't be too hard if I have time." Wasn't sure if the last response was that the tool existed and just needed to be located or if it had to be programmed. I think the last post was from a user with "Smustard" in their signature.

That's all, have a good night, and thx for the help.

      Peace.
