A nice render and model...
But like others already have said... You can gain much by working more with the materials and textures...
I'm really not impressed with the 24 hours render time... In particular not since the render is only 800 x 364...
With other unbiased render applications (None mentioned, none forgotten...) you could easily achieve equal quality in max 1 hour...
i had to compress the size of the image, normaly it was 2200x1000.
I'm working on a new render with more materials and some new textures ...
I'll post an update soon!
afters 24 hours of rendering this is the result, it's not perfect but it's still a wip
tips are welcome!!

Its not a bad start but I think the texturing could do with a little work and some modelling tweaks:
It looks like you are using QMC and Light cache as you render engines. I'd recommend switching the primary engine to Irradiance map. It also looks like you arent making use of the SketchUp sun so make sure you are happy with how the shadows appear in SketchUp and then turn them off, go to the vray options and global switches. Turn on Default lights and ensure that your environment and background maps are set to sky. Make sure you are also using the physical camera and try using the following settings.
- Shutter Speed=125
- F-Stop=12
- Iso=200
i changed this in my settings and this is the result .
thx for the info, if you have more of these tips and willing to share them, please do!
thx man!
thx for the tips, i will look after the things you mentioned.
It's my first time i used vray, so i don't know it very well.
I'll post an update with the changes asap.
grtz
