    • RE: Flatten or drop an imported drawing

      Hi Todd,
was that kind offer addressed to me or the threads originator?

If to me, how do I send you something - (I'm new to online forums in general, not just this one)

      thanks

    • RE: Flatten or drop an imported drawing

Hi I'm new on here, πŸ’š

and was looking round for ways to flatten cad drawings. I had found the drape tool method by just prodding about, but its flawed - my drawing now has gaps in the lines, which repeating the drape function three times has failed to fix.
I draped the drawing as a component onto a blank oblong below. Fourth attempt, I exploded it, selected all the drawing and tried to drape it again like that - the programme crashed, (and has done so on three attempts to do that).

Any further suggestions for making what should be a fab fix actually work?

Can't bear to go back to an untidy cad drawing, may have to invest $5 on the flatten.rb
