Oh, I never thought of that...having a "duh" moment. I was wondering though, is there a key that forces a pink inference like the arrow keys do for the red blue and green axes?

Hi, There has to be an easy way to do this but I haven't figured it out...
OK, so I'm designing a ramp with just 1 face(no thickness). I've rotated it to a specific angle and now I want to extend it with the move tool but I cannot pull the edge along the incline trajectory. SU will lock it along the green axis with the arrow key or holding shift, but this results in a change in my incline angle. The pink inference line will not show up for me. The work around I've been using is to rotate the ramp back to horizontal, extend,rotate back, and trim to the desired length. This is becoming cumbersome, and I just know I must be missing something simple. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
