    • Can't find AutoSave file - is there one?

Normally, I try to save regularly, but sometimes I get lost in my work and forget, so I managed to get quite a bit done since my last save.
Then, when I wasn't paying attention, Windows installed an update and restarted my computer, closing SketchUp in the process.

Now I've opened my model to find a significant amount of work has gone unsaved. I have my Autosave set for every 5 mins, but I'm concerned that because the computer was rebooted, rather than the program crashing, it may have removed that file. But I'm not even sure where the Autosave files are being saved in order to check; there's no entry in the Preferences I can find that can tell me where Autosaves are stored.
Can anybody offer a suggestion that saves me having to redo a couple of hours' modelling? πŸ˜›

    • Rendering inactive groups visible?

I recently upgraded to Make '14. Most of the work I do tends to involve a lot of separate groups that need to be modelled to interact with each other. But on this version, whenever I go to edit one of the groups, all the others disappear, rather than just fading like they did on the old version. This makes it remarkably difficult to make inference modifications.
Is there some way to make the inactive groups notdisappear completely?
