Wonderful job Eric,
It's a great pleasure to see a work like that
Daniel
Archy,
Your work is very interesting. I'am very impressed by the quality of these images.
How long it took to do this?
This is a very impressive work Tom,
How many time you work to do something like that?
That's really incredible!
Archi Rag,
I'm speechless too, every time I see a quality work like this one on this forum.
It's a real pleasure to look at all the great projects showed on this website.
Wonderful work
Thanks Kim and Gaieus,
Indeed, I had a little "รฉ" in my path.
It's surprising that such a tiny detail could cause that problem
Thank you Tom for your comments;
Such a comment, coming from someone who's so good with Sketchup, is flattering (refer to your "Study model / study render" thread and many more).
I haven't modeled all the loudspeakers. My brother gave me some Solid-Edge files (exported in .dwg format)and I have done some ajustements and cleanup and put textures on.
Kim, feel free to hi-jacking my thread..... because I have another question Tonight, I tried to install new material library in Kerkythea. Each time I try to import material, I always receive the same message: "Could not import archive library". I know the material is a .zip file but even after reading all your guides (in french or in english)I don't see what I'm doing wrong. ?
Here are two more render
p.s. I know I still have work to do on the lighting but I'm starting to be satisfied with result.
Thank You all
Daniel
Thanks Kim,
Everything is good with 2.21 version
Cheers
Daniel
A few days ago, my brother, who owns a company named Verity Audio (http://www.verityaudio.com/f/index.html), asked me if I could, using Sketchup, draw a booth for him at the CEDIA in September in Denver.
I worked on this project during a few hours and decided to take a chance with Kerkythea to do my first real render of a Sketchup project.
Iโm relatively satisfied with the result but I know I have a lot of testing to do to enhance the quality of the final render (lights, textures, etcโฆ).
I however have a problem: at least some of the textures I imported in Kerkythea are not only upside down, but also appear on screen as mirror images of themselves, and I donโt know why.
Can anyone help
Thanks
Hi folks,
Here is the last sketchup project Iโve been working on for the next Quebec Carnaval in February. It's the first draft of our next ice castle. I have to do some changes on the concept in the next weeks but the general look of the castle will be probably be similar to that.
Thank you Ross for your pencil style. I like it.
Comments are welcome.
Remember, I'm not an architect or a designer and I use Sketchup only to help me on some part of my job!
@Mike
Do you know the "Can-Am Spyder" from "Bombardier" in Quebec? I think that's exactly what you are looking for.
Here's my Nissan Altima 2005. It's my second Nissan Altima and It's really a very good car. I never had a problem with those two cars.
The situation was very different with my first ones.
My first car was a Datsun 1200 1972 (I bought 2 Datsun to make one in 1977 and It took approximatively 5 minutes to reach 60 miles per hour with this new "bomb");
My first brand new car was a Renault 5 1979 (I had a lot of fun with it but the motor exploded at 25 000 kilometers),
The next was a Toyota Tercel SR-5 1982 bought new the day after I had a new job (It was a wonderful car);
Subsequently I bought a Chevrolet Cavalier 1988 (nothing to say about this car), changed 1 year after for a Toyata Van 1988, when my first son was born.
And my worst car was a Oldsmobile Cutless Supreme 1991 bought in 1992. This car was a nightmare!!! (The paint peeled off, the motor fell down on the road, the fire caught inside the steering wheel, the front left wheel fell down when I was on the highway and so on...).
And now, my dream car!!!
@Bob
This is a wonderful and very impressive work. I feel like I'm really a SU novice when I see a work like that!

Eric,
I am really impressed by your various projects.
You're doing a very, very good job and I'd be happy if, someday, I'd have half your talent!
Daniel
This is a wonderful news Graig!
Very good for you......and us!
Cheers
I'm very proud to be a part of this forum.
To me, taking a look at this forum each day is essential, like my first morning coffee.
