      Sorry, I guess you can do this in sketchup, it just doesn't alway stick to the object you are moving for some reason.

      I am used to using AutoCAD object snaps and was wondering if there is a way to move objects, like in AutoCAD, where you click on the objects vertices, move to the vertices where you want the snapped vertices to be moved to, and then click that vertices to complete the move. This is so nice in AutoCAD because you can perform several other operations in between like zooming, panning, etc. and you don't have to keep the left mouse button down while performing the operation.
