House Additions/Expanding Room
First off I wanna say hi, My name is Ken, I've been messing around with SU now for about a year and i'm completely blown away at the amazing work people have posted here!
I am very skeptical about posting, esp since I don't consider my renderings to be that great.
Anyway, here is an example of my works so far:
this was an addition to a family members house, I made up a quick model to show them the gist of what they were looking to achieve:
here is a friend's house with a newly added 2nd floor to his single floor home:
Thanks for checking them out, hope to contirbute more as time goes on

RE: The answer to city / town travel, Vectrix !
i actually was looking to buy a "TANK" brand scooter (gas powered) about a year ago, when gas prices in the US started to spike... now i regret not buying one since gas has really gone up, even when it drops a few cents i get all giddy and wish i had a scooter capable of achieving 70+mph and still looking at a 50-80mpg read.
oh well. hopefully in the near future i'll be looking to buy again, and this time i'll do it.

RE: Selling some websites
@unknownuser said:
Why?
well i just have no use for them, i had a screen printing company back a few years and these were the sites dedicated to them, it was when i was younger and naive.
So i thought i'd get rid of them, or at least hang on to them and let them sit in one of those accounts where they generate some ad revenue?
don't know yet, but i figured i'd rather not waste money renewing the domains.

Selling some websites
i've decided to get rid of my 2 old sites from back in the day... 2005
http://www.kennebeegraphix.com and http://www.runawayclothingcompany.com i figured i'd throw it out there, see what happens, no biggie if they just die off.

Hey CADken, how about updating YOUR profile so I know where you're coming from. I'm in the Philly area too and am always looking for a good brewer. I haven't found many notable micros around here but still like to buy local beer. Stoudt's is kind of local (Adamstown, near Harrisburg), they nail every style they make and Troegs has done some great beers too. Can't forget Yuengling either, they're solid. I went to college near them and their lager was a staple everywhere, it is one of a kind.sorry about that... i live in Lancaster, PA... we just moved here from Bucks County about 2 months ago, so i'm still new to this area and scouting our local brews around here.

Won't tell much to you guys...
Imagedo you think they'd ship it to the US? Laughing i'd be interested to sample some of the beers they brew... the Pils one looks good, as well as the interesting "fuel" brew.

Local Brews
Do we have any Home-brewers here? Since i'm still new around here i'm not 100% sure where everyone is located (aside from looking under the user's avatar Smile)
Anyway, I'm quiet the lover of cigars and beer, but not just any beer, i'm talking local brews and unique beers you can't just get anywhere.
I'm a fan of Samuel Adams and Blue Moon but those are the only "main-stream" beer i like, there is a local brewery in Philadelphia, PA called the "Independence Brew Pub" and they have a great selection of their own brews. Another favorite is Dogfish Head (Rehoboth Beach, DE, http://www.dogfish.com) they have quiet the selection and a beer for every taste.
Anyway, i'm always on the look out for more beer to sample, and it's become a life's passion to find great beers from all around.
So, got a local favorite? post it!
I've also dabbled in home-brewing but never got into more seriously, as i'm sure my neighbors appreciated that... waking up to the smell of beer brewing isn't neighbor friendly Sad
