sorry guys, but I really can't get it! I can rotate the axex but I spent the entire evening in trying to rotate the texture!

      This is what I do:

I choose the material, I apply it to the component and when I right click the mouse pointed on the texured face of the component I can't find the option Texture-rotate. Where am I wrong?

      This is what I see

Dave, I understand your explanation, you talked about your technique in the cabinet project on th FWW blog. So it should be a quick job. I'll try it soon.

Dave, I've never thougth about grain direction in but reading this topic I understand how important it can be. So, do you mean that you set the axis every time you make a component?

    • RE: CutListAndMaterials

When I extracted the zip file there was a folder called cutlist_4.0.6 and inside that ther was the folder cutlistui and the file culistandmaterials.rb

The error I made is that I inserted the whole folder cutlist_4.0.6 in the plugins when I should have taken only the inside folder cutlistui and the file culistandmaterials.rb

The fact that the internet page appeared means that it can’t find the html file used as the interface for the plugin

This is due to my first time in using plugins. Next time it will be better.

      Ciao!

Ok, let's start from the very beginning....so, YES, the computer is plugged in. 😉

I checked the files you told me and they are all there.

Another odd thing is that when I ran CutListAndMaterials there were two versions, one for SU5 and one for SU6. The SU5 worked correctly but the SU6 version gave me that strange IE message. My SU version is 6 dot something. I could try a new download. Maybe....

IE 7. Sounds strange to me, too. I was use to use Firefox but the last version is so slow in my computer.

I downloaded Cutlist 4 and put the ruby in the plugins folder but, when I run it I see the Internet Explorer page saying that "this program cannot display the webpage". Why? Maybe because I don't have the Pro version?

    • CutListAndMaterials

Hello everybody, I just downloaded CutListAndMaterials 3.3 and must say it's great. Just wondering if there a simple way to customize excel to make it accept the infos in a standardized way. I'm not a wizard in using excel but I think that with a little explanation I could get it. Thanks a lot! Luca
