I have downloaded the latest free version of Sketch up and I was hoping to do the step by step tutorials I cant find them. Im sure you remember the "making the Chair" building a simple house ... yea yea those. Are they gone or is there somewhere else to find them. I have progressed since then but I havent used sketchup in a while and wanted a refresher.

Except for two models under eyestop the rest were created using Vectorworks 11. There are 2 though under eyestop that were done with sketch up and podium. I love the effect and it took 1/3 the time. I'm psyched

My modeling program has been Vectorworks. More and more people that I can do freelance for are asking for sketchup. My limited foray into sketch up and podium shows me that it can be a much faster modeling program to use in comparison to vectorworks and with podium I prefer the quality of the finished product. I have tried to participate on the official forum but .. well people are not very helpful and quite honestly by and large not very nice. so here I am.
