    • Help out with city design project?

      Hi,
I'm the author of the blog http://www.wildrocketsledgeride.com, and I'm wondering if anyone is keen on doing a project with me?

I'm trying to launch an idea that some cities can be built with the road system under ground, in order to make the city a much more pleasant place to live, and I've made some illustrations myself: http://www.wildrocketsledgeride.com/ultra-compact-city-concept/the-design-of-an-ultra-compact-city/
These illustrations aren't any good however, and I need help to make cool looking drawings/films.

I have an idea of how this could look, both with regards to arranging roads / subways / streets, but also for entire layout of a city.

So, if there is anyone out there keen on helping out, why don't you drop me a line?

The advantage for you if you help me is you'd get to show off your skills by making drawings of an eco city that would both be "spaced out" but also realistic to build, something which I hope will generate some attention (I'm an engineer + MBA, and believe such cities can both be built technically and will be very economical to operate). This means it should be possible to distribute these illustrations widely - carrying your name and contact details on them.

    • City sketches

Hi, I'm the author of the blog http://wildrocketsledgeride.com, and to illustrate articles I've had to start using Sketchup. I tried doing the same 7-8 years ago with AutoCAD architectural desktop, but that wasn't much of a success. My recent stuff ain't that good either πŸ˜‰, but at least it's better. So, I've come here to pick up more about drawing cities.
