Oh no, I understood. I was just comparing my experience to Ely's.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Yeah, the front fascia is a lot mean-looking now, and the trunk is cleaner than the V8 Fastback.
Great minds think alike. I did the same thing with my version.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
What? And nothing about the best mustang ever?
Saleen made a modern interpretation of the '70 Trans Am Mustang, but it was just another mustang with a colour scheme and a chin spoiler. Now, I've seen your models and I know it's possible for you to make a proper modern version. I'm currently working on it, so let's see what we come up with. -

This is most definitely one of your weirdest car and also ugliest(at least so far ).
Even ugly has potential . Can't wait to see it finished.

I canβt seem to get the sub-smooth to work either
Speaking of SDS, I've used it for a brief time; it's pretty hard but rewarding. So far I've managed to make a spoiler (the one on the Artega) . So wrap it up, almost all of the work goes to preparation. Then let the SDS do the rest. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Nice. Any side views of the cars? The fastback really looks hot, but I can't really figure out the real shape by the 3/4 view.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Nice. Although I'd personally go for something more drag-racing friendly, like classic steel wheels or five-spoke ones. When I saw these wheels on the '10 GT, I thought Ford made a headstart for the tuning crowd. Maybe that's just me.

There may not be anything to say, but I'm here, downloading them .

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Maybe the word aesthetically would be the right one...? I can feel my word bank dying; can I blame the recession for this one too? Anyway...
Gah, didn't notice the rear bumper revision... I know I've seen a powerdome hood somewhere in this thread. GT?
I've done so much on that model! Oh well, I'll see what I can do. Plus, I think I'll wait for the GT, so I can throw some details from the GT in there as well.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Great! So technically, the only changes so far on the base model has been the rear fog lights and Trojan logo? And can I upload the work I did on the one you sent me before?

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Oooo. I should've known after seeing the DB9 wheel.
I'm not so sure about textures because they're notorious for slowing down the model while orbiting. They're also an excuse for getting something done without having to spend hours on a detail. But that depends on how well you use them. E.g. Mirza used textures and they were "meh", due to the way they were placed. Knowing your skill level, I'm ok with them.
Now that you made a DB9 (I prefer your models over imports ) I'll make it into a DBS. ALI-B made one, but I have a feeling this one will be better (I hope, I hope, I hope...).
Oh and I uploaded the B-500GT (racing version of the B-500S), incase you haven't seen it yet.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
I've been working on a Ute too...!
Nothing done to the rear window yet. I'll look into that later.I won't upload the model on the warehouse. Apparently, according to other users, the Ute doesn't have an outlandish bodykit or paint job to qualify... But I'll upload it here when it's done .

"Great Wall" of China Motor Company (has about 10 subsidyβs that produce the same GM cars. I cant find all their names as most are all Chinese)
I've seen some Great Wall products. I thought they were Toyota and Nissan-based. For example the old Great-Wall pickup, which is basically a prev-gen. Hilux and the Sailor (truly WTF), which is a Nissan "Pickup".

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
My car identification skill is a crying shame. sob Anyway, that wheel looks quite tricky with the angles. Or is it my perceptions to blame?
Oh and I got hold of some mediocre blueprints of the RS6 Avant. Yay.

RE: Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
The "El Camino" AKA Pontiac G8 ST is officially dead. Maybe the word cancelled would suit it better since it wasn't even made to be killed in the fir... aaaanyway, it got cancelled.

Thank you, but credit goes to Rogue for the cake. I just did the toppings.

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
Ok, so basically everyone deserted the forum. Here's something to liven it up.
I've working on rendering now and here's what I did with the Trojan Cobra (Base?).
Pics in wallpaper format (1024x768).
I'll upload a special (not this, yet) on March 13th. -
RE: Ray Ochoa- My Car WIPs and final renders
I see that you're doing some updates to your website. I like the "Guide to car design" section. Nice idea.

SketchUp doesnβt seem to be what I want to be doing at the moment, I feel I should be concentrating on other things instead, career maybe.
Well, good luck with that. I'm thinking of dropping out temporarily next year. That's because I'll be taking IGCSE exams a year from now. And I don't think I should risk that opportunity.
So there we go, the Warehouse will end up being a Fortress of Suck...

RE: Rogue's W.I.P's!
You'll need the break . If you stay away from SU for a while, your progress will be better when you come back. Don't know why, but it just works.
If I get back to modelling, I'll work on the G-R V8 R. I guess it'll either be a coupe or ute. I already did a tuned sedan and I try not to recycle ideas. But for now, I'll stick to uploading my finished models.
An awkward situation. I've found out that someone gave my GT-B a 1 star. I thought: Oh, ok. Another troll. But then I came across the "troll's" models and found out that he/she makes decent stuff. Hmm... That same person down-rated my two other models. Weird.
