Hilary's scary facial impression strikes yet another victim.
I'd rock it. It screams "SPEED" and I have no idea why.
No sarcasm, seriously.
Great, I've doing the same for some time now. I just found out that my McLaren F1 LM is my most popular model yet it looks like a pile of.. you know what. I'll keep updating them till, well, hell freezes over.
It's awesome what aligning the wheels and fixing/hiding a few lines can do: Modified Ford Capri
Wow, the wheel looks great! But I think it can do with a smaller hubcap, because it's awesome without the hubcap.
About the Ford Mustela: Why don't you call it a "Rogue-model-inspired-by-the-Mustela"? Because it'll avoid the people from b*tching and whining when they find out that it's inaccurate (the world's filled with jealousy).
Or how about a modern-retro version of it (a la Lamborghini Miura Concept)?
Just my two-cents
Nice drawing. That got me thinking about drawing a modern yet retro version of the Escort. Hmm...

I just wanted to get this model out of the way
Well, at least you get stuff done. I still have a messy Volkswagen Beetle in my hard drive just begging to be worked on. Same story with a Mazda RX-7, a Countach, a Defender, etc. (Working on messy imports are really fun!)
Yeah, tons of models that still need work, but I seem to have gotten addicted to low-poly models and SP3...
That does work, but I don't know how to set the speed/force. Help?
Hi. The whole SP3 thing is a huge improvement over the previous one and there doesn't seem to be a "SP For Dummies: Toddler Edition" anywhere that explains the scripts in plain english.
So I was wondering if there's a way of turning on/off a thruster with a keystroke? I understand that it's possible (with Wacov's code) for emitters, but not the same case for thrusters. Tried my best with the guessing, but no success. Help?
<Insert Jezza's rant about electric cars here>
But seriously, nice work. A bit messed up in the middle though.
What I find funny here is the transition of the poly count throughout the model. But nice size considering the no. of polygons.
Actually, I've been working on the driver's and the gun's POV, but didn't work as intended. I think I saw a code for what you mentioned, something like "look at example_box_1" rather than the traditional "camera follow box. camera track box" one. I think I'll try to contact CPhillips about this sometime soon. But until then, I'll just look around for that...
Thanks David.
@Wacov: Thanks for that harsh critism... . There are a few things I'd have to sacrifice over C.O.G., one is the level of difficulty in drifting and the other is the stoppie. Yes, stoppie. Just speed up, press "UP", "DOWN" and S simultaneously. You can lift the rear at any time, but looks real... sort of. I've taken notice of your concern and will be tweaking the model - as always.
Hello everyone. Some of you might know me for my models on the warehouse, but I'm new here on this forum (excluding the time lurking around in people's threads). I've always worked on cars - tweaking them - but I've been playing around with SP ever since the first release. I happen to have quite a few SP models, but I really felt the need to share this one.
Buggy (SP).skp
I think the best way to learn to play with this game/animation would be to understand how it works, so I'd suggest you read the next part carefully.
Oh and that gun? You press space for that.
NOTE: The grip function doesn't work if you don't press "UP". The thruster is activated only when "UP" is pressed.
NOTE: If the vehicle isn't settling down on the ground, or say, unstable, press "UP" and W or just press "DOWN". The thrusters pointing upwards will settle the vehicle down.
Track + bonus included. Credit to november92 (3D Warehouse) for the buggy. I couldn't resist, so I ended up "tweaking" the model a bit...
Cool! Really liking that colour. Makes me want to do renders again.
Wow, please tell me that you're actually making that thing! That thing is "teh seks". Not only does it have a realistic engine (no vapourware!), it actually looks great. I think I see a bit of SLR and SLK in there (roofline; quarter windows...???).

I guess I don't understand Remus's picture. Do you suppose it comes from not watching television?
That man behind the "couple" is Blade, the Vampire hunter. I was five years old when the whole Blade thing came out, so I never got to watch it. Yeah, you can blame TV for that. If I saw that picture a few years back - when I finally decided to watch the first one - I would've been in the same position as you are. Good movie, but I must warn you though: things can get cheesy... (don't tase me bro!)
