    • Easier way to make something like this?

      Hi all,

      My names Brendan and I'm new here. Happy holidays.

      So I'm currently learning Sketch Up and have a question about creating a repeating structural element across a.... I'm not sure what to term it, perhaps parabolic grid?
      See the attached for an example.
      As you can see the repeating structural element changes its height and angle along the length of the form while remaining the same depth and thickness.
      I made this geometry manually but surely there is an easier way to do this relatively simple thing. I was hoping the lattice function on the Extrusion plugin would work for some of it but it only seems to work on curves.

      Am I missing something completely obvious here?
      Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
