RE: Insightful Article on Sarah Palin
Hey, I'm not a huge Palin fan, although I loved her RNC speech, but Obama doesn't have much more experience than she does. And he's running for President, for Pete's Sake!
I think being biased, which we ALL are, does make scrutiny somewhat less insightful and more subjective. Or, in the case of Dan Rather, flat out wrong and untrue.
I think McCain should have picked Joe Lieberman and Obama should have picked Hillary.

RE: Insightful Article on Sarah Palin
Insightful, questionable; biased, absolutely. The author is an Obama supporter.

RE: A simple browser game for SketchUppers!
My best so far is 4.55. The hardest for me is the triangle. Anyone get a 0.0 deviation. I got down to a .2

RE: Playing with Grey Scale script
Thanks. I agree, SU works very well with it's native features. I still use version 5. I might convert this to version 6 and play around with styles.

RE: [Plugin] GreyscaleMode
Just discovered this script. What a gem, Jim! Thank you.
Edit: And thank you to Dave R for suggesting this script.
Edit: I showed this in the Gallery forums also, not sure of the appropriate venue. This is a great script. This is a house I'm working on and the image reminds me of a night shot with a full moon (ignore the blue sky!) I like the ability to use just a little color.

Playing with Grey Scale script
This is an grey scale image of a house I'm working on. This was done with Jim's (and Dave R) grey scale ruby. I think this script has wonderful utility. Leaving a little color appeals to my eye, anyway. It looks like a night shot with a full moon.

From some of the comments here... you might enjoy the podcast "Mr. Diety". Others will hate it.
I just watched every podcast of Mr. Deity. Thanks for the tip, pbacot; I had never heard of this before. Very very funny. For those who don't know, go to crackle.com and do a search. There are 19 total episodes (each about 4 minutes) spanning 2 seasons.

RE: Yet another Brasilia building (Podium renders)
Yeah, pretty impressive, I think, Edson. I looked over your web site and admired your many works. You've been a busy boy, haven't you?

RE: Utility Building
Daniel, I love this little building and I especially love the delicate vertical slot in the brick bordering the center bump-out. Well done.

RE: Office building
Wow, stinkie, aka Tom. I just stumbled onto this thread. I've always been partial to these gray (grey) clay-like images. You've done a great job here. These look wonderful; it;s hard to pick a favorite.

Just heard a blurb on the local news that she gave an interview today (imagine that :`) and said...the newscaster actually prefaced this with and I quote: "Senator Obama isn't qualified to be president".
Eggs the size of basketballs!
Of the 4 candidates, here's my list of who is qualified to be president:
- McCain - because I have a bias
- Biden - only because of his longevity even though he gets his facts wrong.
- Palin - she's been a governor
- Obama - he gives a good speech

Certainly not...it is a very colorful spirituality. No Gods are necessary. Gods only place man made parameters on spirituality.
Interesting statement.

Ron,
She may be quaint...and even sexy, in a 'Madame Lash' sort of way....but doesnt the fact that she has an actuarial chance of 1 in 5 of being your president in less than for years worry you just a little?

No.

RE: The VP Debate!!!
Joe Biden is a blubber mouth. Sarah Palin is quaint. And I am feed up.

RE: The curruption will (did) prevail - rant
Your points are well taken.....but we need leadership not politicians, ya know? I say there is a decent chance the House will reject it because of public outcry and then we're back to square one for the second time...deja vu all over again.
The VP debate...................

RE: The curruption will (did) prevail - rant
You know, had either Obama or McCain voted "NO" and come out and said: "Of all the bills the Senate has passed, this is NOT the one to contain pork", they would be the next president. The whole country should be pissed about this, and I think they are.
