By turning on the hidden geometry I can get to the texture option and it is not projected. Unless I turn on hidden geometry to get to a single face I do not have the option for right-click texture

In the warehouse there is an object called 'Pillow Flower' which is a good example of what I am struggling with.

It has several layers of components (see image 1). On the face is a large flower material. When I select the face and apply my own (same size) material it applies it as per image 2, rather than the face as a whole. If I just swap the material via the entity info it is fine, image 3. I would guess this is expected behaviour but why is that?

I work in education and we are going to purchase SU for the students. We are mac only here.

I have looked at the setup notes but they all refer to Windows.

Does anyone have any experience/knowledge/notes/links on how to set up su on a mac network?
