At the rate that it's growing currently, we probably have about a week before the 1000th member joins. To bad I will be away from any web connection (at camp) for the next week, I'll probably miss it.

RE: First attempt at Kerkythea - your opinion, suggestions pleas
Most of my Kerkythea stuff doesn't use lights like that (just the sun and a back light) so I don't have to much experience in that area but it does look like your spotlights have a narrow angle on them (do they?) if that is the case than either widening the angle or changing the to omni lights would work.

RE: First attempt at Kerkythea - your opinion, suggestions pleas
For the refractions you could probably just change the angle of refraction in the material properties, whatever you need to do with the water Is going to be in those properties. And I still don't see any antialiasing, are you waiting for it to finish completely?

RE: First attempt at Kerkythea - your opinion, suggestions pleas
That's pretty good, about the average first render in Kerkythea. Yes, you should smooth out the water before exporting, although doing that only increases the resolution of the jaggedness, the smaller the jags the better (they vanish at about 3 pixels). And turn on antialiasing, it'll improve it a lot.

RE: Missing posts?
Might have been me . Earlier today I sent a PM to someone and when I pressed the outbox button it wouldn't connect, then I tried looking at some other pages but they wouldn't connect either. So I logged of and back in but there was nothing in my outbox and some topics I had read earlier said that I hadn't read them. This all happened within about five minutes. This help?

Middle one is low-poly, left one is high-poly, and right one is the mix.

RE: A Fun Little Game, Continued...
Granted, but the magic took its materials from your house which got turned into a tiny shed.
I wish that I could figure out why the sound system at our church is acting funny.

RE: A Fun Little Game, Continued...
Granted, now you hand sketch so well that your pencils can't handle it and they all break.
I wish that my brain would warm back up faster after coming back from vacation.

RE: [Tutorial] How to Model Creases, Folds, Ripples eg a Skirt
Ok, unlucky you have the one version in which you have to click on that button for every line. It was put there for debugging purposes and was meant to be removed. The current version does not have that annoying button.

RE: Sketchy Physics Contest
Nope, nobody was out there. But now that I'm back...
The reason that you're bridge section moves is that convex-hull is convex, like it's been shrink wrapped. The only way that I could get around that was to make each individual line of the inside curve a different object, then group them all.By the way, you can forget about the rules if you want. Just make your bridge cool and breakable.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, but the person that it was assigned to didn't do his job and this topic is no more.
I wish that one of my friends was as strong and as fast as me, I need some competition.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, everything will be white this Christmas, that is all you will be able to see.
I wish that I could type at 1,000,000 words per minute.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, you can afford to go to a junky, non-scenic campground with just your sleeping bag for four days.
I wish my canary would be easier to tame.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, but it's so gross that you faint and forget it.
I wish that Norton wasn't so annoying.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, but you live in an apartment with a professional tea boy (whatever that is).
I wish that everything I didn't like would vanish, and I don't like tea.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, but now he is making hundreds of change orders and implementing them for free withought asking or telling you.
I wish that I did not feel obligated to keep this game going. Why do I, anyway?

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, but the way that you are able to do it is through complete self-sacrifice, and the day after you die (from starvation) everyone relying on you gets hungry again.
I wish that all viruses, bugs, spy ware, etc. Would vanish and never come back so that I didn't have to have any huge programs to keep them of of my computer.

RE: A fun little game.
Granted, , there you go, I have shared all of them that I have, that is none.
I wish that I had a program that automatically made scripts and programs.
