At my place of business we have been using google sketch up for building models of future buildings and the models get pretty large. Greater than 100Mb, easy. Tons of textures, tons of detail to the 1/64th of an inch. After a while the model becomes very slow and hard to work in. Now for the question. What hardware should I need to upgrade in order to run sketch up at that speed. Money aside, is there a computer sold on the market that can do this. I currently have an alien ware laptop, bought it last year custom built with all the highest specifications options on the website when I bought it. Ran me like four grand and sketch up still goes unresponsive when I do certain things. I thank you all in advance for your time.
