maybe some higher anti-aliasing settings could solve the problem
Choose user settings in the render-presets.
I like it a lot. It's a great concept for a kid's bedroom. Lot's of exploring to do.
Why don't you add a few windows to the cells.
It's also flexible, the sleeping place could also be on top of the cell, and the computer/play/game space inside the cube.
You can also make the wall of the cell more flexible (curtain maybe) to create even more different space configurations.
Lot's of possiblities.
great work.
ps.
I picture this sleeping cell in the Ikea catalog of 2015!
Looks like you used the standard lighting model. Try using the radiosity setting for a more convincing lighting of the interior.
Drawback is that the render time will increase dramatically
Did this concept design for fun a while back. It's a boat house. In the round center to the right entrance/kitchen/bedrooms. The long part on the left the living room.
Render in Vue5 infinite.
Inspired by the great master (see avatar)
Looking good Mike.
You can find lot's of good objects that you can insert in Artlantis at http://www.archiradar.it/
The site is Italian but the download section is easy to find.
Try using the fresnel glazing material for your glass, you'll be amazed.
I really love Artlantis for it's straightforward material assignment and incredible speed of rendering.
Great photo inserts. I really like the one of the pool.
In the first one maybe the wall could use some more texturing, but other than that great images!
Maybe not directly topic related, but are there people here who have experience with the Intellicad family?
Always good to look for cheaper alternatives for Autocad.
Model from sketchup, about 1 hour, with 3/4 of the time spent on reference searching for the aliens! Got sidetracked a lot because you come across all types of old school gaming things, brought back alot of good memories
Imported in Vue as separate objects and created 4 layers of eco-systems with aliens. Most of the time spent on trying out different camera angles and lighting.
Final render took a few hours (Vue is a bit slooooow)
After that the framing and title (font was 'Friday the 13th' I think, found somewhere on the web)
I could post the separate aliens in the component section if someone wants to use them?
