One of the first batch of Renders I got out of Sketchup, with Twilight Render.
Lots of help from places like this online, Daniel Tal's book (managed to get it from the Library here in Taiwan....in English....amazing...)
Had some experience with Sketchup, 10 or so years back, and Layout. Rendering seems to be a whole different beast, but I'm amazed what you can do. Definitely keen to learn more, and have been absorbing books, forums and Youtube....so much too it.
Lots to do (worktop edges - maybe back faces or something....cabinet doors - might have dialled in a procedural render setting that messed up)...
I'd be very interested if anyone has tips or suggestions especially to do with Render time. Plenty on the list to work on there - have already tried 2D instead of 3D plants...but...the 3D plants look so good.
Working on designing simpler cabinets for the kitchen because the ones I got from the 3D warehouse seemed to have a million bits in the model, and screws with threads on & stuff. Which is nice, but this render took about 15 hours
So, here it is. Thanks all for you help, even if you don't know you helped
