Sketchup waybe
-
and where's the plugin?
-
If you mean Jim's unfold tool, it is here.
BTW what is this thread doing in the SketchyPhysics subforum?
Well, I'm moving it... -
thank you, i will install jim's. however i meant "waybe".
-
I spent a while browsing trying to find if the 'waybe' script was available somewhere. I think I found the blog of its creator (same name, same age, clearly smart enough) but I can't be sure. No mention of SkechUp, Ruby, 3d, or 'Waybe' on his blog.
If you'd like to see this script surface the best bet is probably to leave a comment at the YouTube videos.

No Remus,
That's Jim's blog there that we have talked about above already.
-
google turned up this: http://sketchuptips.blogspot.com/
i'd iamgine its the link that says 'unfold tool', i havent tried it myself yet jsut to warn you.
EDIT:ignore that please, that just links to jims ruby.

At first I thought "Wehby" might have something to do with this, but I think I'm wrong.
-
Odd that there appear to be no links to Wheby, even if it's just more information
-
After doing an extensive Google search I am beginning to believe that this plugin does not exist. I have been trying different ways to make a Sketchup video to satisfy myself that a video could be made that illustrates the same functions.
Donβt want to cast a sour note, but I can not believe that this plugin exist and there is absolutely no information about the plugin.
However, I am hoping that I am wrong, because this is a plugin I could use.

Guys,
The Waybe plugin is real (not a magician's trick) and we are just about to enter the beta testing phase of the project. We have tried to keep it low profile while developing it and apologize for not being very responsive to inquiries. Hopefully version 1 will be ready in June. Please email me at ruski.canuk[at]gmail.com if you are interested in other details.

Hi and thanks for droppingt by and letting us know. It does seem to be an extremely exciting tool and there are a lot of people who would definitely be interested.
-
do you think anyone would go through all that effort to make hoax videos? perhaps there is a good reason for not making the plugin available yet. i would say wait a little before jumping to conclusions.
-
I'm not making conclusions - just telling that is seemsto be exciting.
