      wouldn't that be lightwave?

I found this for you... might help

FBX is the proprietary file format developed by Kaydara for Filmbox (now Motion Builder). Other 3D software packages such as Maya, XSI, 3ds max and Lightwave have provided plug-ins for .fbx import and export and Cinema 4D R8.5 has finally released this plug-in for their package so that you can take advantage of this great tool.

SU supports FBX so why not import into SU and then export in another format to another program you do have ot using Kerky or some other SU related renderer?
