Trouble printing through SketchUp?

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to print straight from SketchUp (not exporting out) onto an 11X17 sheet of paper. All of my settings are quite standard when trying to print but the image doesn't want to fit to the paper size for some reason, even when "Fit to Paper" is selected. If I am printing an elevation the model fits to the paper size entirely, but anytime I try to print a perspective view the image wants to print at roughly 6"X10" instead of filling the entire sheet. I had this same problem the other day and when I copy and pasted the model into another file, it seemed to work fine. I have tried resaving under a different name, copy and pasting, restarting the software, etc. Anyone have an idea on whats going on here or a fix? Thanks.

I think that it is probably the "Use Model Extents" Try un-clicking this, if it is clicked.
It's in the print dialog box.

"Use Model Extents" is unticked. I am still getting the problem and I have no work-around as of yet.

Well, it is a problem I think. I've run into it before and I'm not sure what it is. Maybe try clicking the extents button? Or, you could use Layout, I find it to be pretty slow but it seems to work for printing.

I must admit, I never print directly from SU, I always tend to export an image.
Maybe that may help you work around this until you find a solution. -
I don't mind exporting out of SketchUp but then when you import into a program such as Photoshop the image becomes highly pixelated even at a huge resolution. Printing straight out of SketchUp produces a really nice clean image when printing in HighDef.

If you bump the line weight up in sketchup than the lines look better upon image export, bump thme to the point where the model looks horrible on screen.
But, give layout a try, for simple views it works pretty well, and it is easier to control line weight, etc.

Over the years I've printed very little direct from SU. That changed recently as I started working in an office that has a nice colour laser printer and I love seeing the colour output.
The mistake I was making for a while with printing related to the size of my modelling window vs. the print area. I was finding my printed models to be small relative the paper. Eventually I realized that my dimwitted mistake was in thinking 'stretch to fit' (or whatever the printer drivers call it) would make my model fit. What I was forgetting about was the print is the entire modelling window and not just the model. So with a big monitor with lots of floating tool panels open I might just have my view of the actual model taking up less than half of the overall modelling window. On printing it is the entire window that prints. As I often work with a white background and sky & ground turned off, it isn't always very obvious why the model printed so much smaller than expected.
Now what I do is before printing I resize my window and think of it as a cropping or framing tool to determine exactly what I want to print.
