[Plugin] Self Paced Tutorial Assitant
-
Here is a little script to help tutorial makers lives easier.
It copies the selected geometry along the x-axis, moves the camera the same distance, and finally adds a new scene to save the view.
It will create a first scene if none exists on first use.
It creates a menu item called "SPT Copy" in the Plugins menu. Use a shortcut to activate it quickly.

Jim, this is very kind of you - thanks (I make tuts "once in a while")-
Also, by default I don't have "scenes" turned on so this would save a couple of steps for sure! -
Thanks for the script, Jim. I can envisage the potential convenience.
I'll give it a test run...
Regards,
Taff -
Thank you Jim. This should be really handy.
-
Sounds like AddPages but with an added geometry copier.

-
Thanks Jim, very useful indeed.

Does this plug-in work in SketchUp 8? When I tried to install it from Window > Preferences > Extensions > "Install Extension", it won't recognize the file because it's .rb rather than .rbz.
Thanks! -

Thanks!plugins with .rb are no extensions and you only need to copy it in the right directory.
