hello again guys,
i really would like to know how to make water surfaces,because i was browsing trough the renders gallery and saw a picture of a ship that leaved me speechless,and i know im a n00b,but,could somebody be gentle enough to teach me this?

If I am not mistaken those were rendered images.
In a rendering program you can add bumpmaps to materials (i.e water) to reflect as it has waves (though the "bigger" waves definitely needed to be modelled there).Also, you may find this little freeware handy for post processing:
