      Hi All,
Recently I’ve been in the situation of Laptop only, going from two screens to one wasn’t too bad a transition. What it has made me very aware of is how wasteful the tray system / Su UI is! There’s a ton of mismanaged space in all the trays. Trays don’t stay thin. I'm not a fan of popping up trays that have been parked in the side bar that then cover your work. Anyway…

With the comprehensive plugin by Fredo, ā€˜LOTBars’, shaping this thought - is it possible to create a new interface?
      Just a thought.

Is there a discussion that anyone knows of about the tray system that I could look at? UI questions etc.

      Cheers in Advance
      Chris.

You can shortcut the show/hide tray which is what I do for more real estate.

I would suggest my PieMenu extension but since they changed the UI handling and continue to do so it becomes a chore supporting it. It works fine in 2022 though.

As front ending a better UI there's no such luck. RV did share this the other day...

Which I tried out and it does work but labour intensive to implement per application.

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp šŸ“–

That Auto Pie Menu is Crazy!!

I havd a go at Curics Pie Menu but it was too slow. LOTTbars is sooo fast. Not tried yours I'm affraid but indended to until I pursued with Fredos, where I preferred the familier UI resembling SU.
