      Hi,

I am new to this community but have been using SKUP for a number of years. Recently (~8 months) I decided to use SKUP and Layout as my major workflow (Architectural). I am using the Mac version and working with a very knowledgeable SKU user who is helping me get things organized.

Getting components set up as a collection on a central drive and accessible from SKU is not an issue, but we do not know how to do the same things for a materials collection.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

      Regards,
      Vince

The most efficient way is have your materials stored somewhere other than the default library location.

This saves you pain if/when you upgrade to major releases.

On Mac go to SketchUp > Preferences from the menu bar and set the path to where you will stored you materials.

Place your materials, typically folder separated based on category/type, into that location.

        Just a moment...
