Just a test of D5 Render. Free version.

No adjustments. Didn't know how except for camera and basic light.

Not bad. Same bedroom as posted before.

Very nice work Bryan, your bes yey πŸ‘ πŸ‘ However you could have got the same light by using a light portal in raylaectron πŸ˜‰

Is this scene provided by D5?

Raylectron output doesn't really hit the mark but D5 looks very nice.

                Thanks!

Good suggestion. I keep forgetting about Portal. Doing another comparison render now.

                  Thanks jo-ke!

Fast as hell too and by happenstance and something I did not know, D5 is optimized for my new GPU.

I rendered than scene in about 2-3 minutes.

Yep. That is D5 without me knowing how to use it. It too me an hour to figure out how to turn on the lights. I felt dumb when I figured it out as it was really simple, just hidden down a scroll menu.

                    Super fast as well.

So it's a scene tailored to showcase D5 with lighting and materials already setup?

Hi, I love all of them, great light in the first image.
Rayelectron has more shadow definition, but as I understand, you get more out of D5 and it is faster.

                              Thanks!

D5 is insanely fast. I can't wait to learn my way around it this week.

I had some hardware issues with Raylectron and I am resolving those today as well as learning some new techniques to take advantage of my new hardware capabilities.

Nice work Bryan and congrats on the new computer πŸ‘ πŸ‘ Consider putting some "shine" on the fabric on the bed I think you will be suprised what it does. I put some shine on everyting, not much it just makes the light work differently and makes an overall improvement in renders. But again nice work mate

Is D5 Unreal? I see it all over youtube and definitely looks interesting but don't know anything about it. I dropped too much $$ on lumion to mess with anything else πŸ˜„

Yes. It is uses the Unreal render engine along with Nvidia render technology and although it works with any GPU, it is highly optimized for Nvidia GPUs.

D5 Render is a brand new product in the rendering field, based on Unreal Engine and NVIDIA RTX technology, with self-developed high-precision GI and de-noise technology to maximize the performance of RTX graphic cards.

Lumion is damn nice, but way out of my budget.

I usually do put a touch of touch a shine on everything. Glad to see I'm not the only one.

I was not aware until seeing this thread that D5 is based upon UE. I see it has decals as assets even though I think I know the answer I will ask anyway: Does raytracing work with D5 decals? Has anybody used D5 and twinmotion and which is preferable in your opinion?
Just an opinion here many are talking of lumion and its cost. When I look at Lumion renders I find they have a generic look and not one I enjoy they look fake and cartoonish. Am I missing some atribute of Lumion that I do not understand as yet

                                        Thanks

decals dosn't work in twinmotion. Ithink in D5 it is the same
