2nd test render of the new laptop and first as my main work rig.

      • Real 3D plants. Lots. Every one of them. My old laptop could never do this.
      • I imported an entire town square just to get the right shadows and reflections. Again, could not do this before.
      • HDRI dome.
      • 1000 passes in 30 minutes.

Don't look TOO close. There are some sketchy details, but those are from the imported model I didn't bother to fix.

This test was to see if I could use a lot of 3d plants, and import a large model, which my old laptop simply could not do.

            Thanks guys!

Yes, it's kind of dark because the scene is in the shade. I tried with more direct light and it looked really good, but I wanted to test how the GPU works with shade.

I'll run up another with more direct light and post it later.

πŸ‘ . The clothing appears a bit more natural to my eye at least. Generally it speaks to me a bit more. πŸ‘

                    Thanks Mike!

I did make some extra tweaks to the textures and turned the sun brightness down some, as well. The first test render was far too bright, so I made the second, shaded one shown at top.
