Layout keeps crashing!!

I am running Sketchup 2022 and my Layout keeps crashing, like 10-15 times per day. It keeps telling me to delete "plo.files" in the roaming layout files in sketchup on my drive. I do that and still crashes.
I will be moving around the drawing zooming in and out, then all the fonts and symbols either disappear or go micro in scale, freezes and eventually crashes.
I thought it might have something to do with syncing to google drive, so I stopped the sync, but still happens. Purged all the unused components, uninstalled and reinstalled sketchup, but still crashes.

Have you been working on files saved directly to your Google Drive location?
What version of Mac OS are you using?

opening and saving directly to my hard drive, then dragging over to google drive at then end of the day

Did you install SketchUP and LayOut correctly by right clicking on the downladed installer and choose Run as administrator?

I will reinstall
I also have tried deleting the google drive and it keeps telling me to stop running google drive (which I have) and won't delete it from my hard drive. ARGH!!!
