Reminds me of Saw movie. Were the god rays added post-pro?

Thanks Rich. I did the light rays in Affinity. Something I havenโ€™t done much of. Had to take some wild ass guessing due to the light source being pretty far out of camera view. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

You did a great job with those god rays. For me there direction seems a little off but I can't explain why. Just a feeling.

If you could add dust particles in post it would be really nice! Overall its great. Really gritty. Kinda Walking Dead vibes.

Rich, your feeling about the rays being a little off coincides with mine. I think the angle of the rays needed to be a little more horizontal if that makes sense. The light source is through a set of double doors down a short hall to the left. Agree with your comments on โ€œdust particlesโ€, havenโ€™t really figured that out yet ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks Bryan. Posting up a new image. Got me some dust particles floating around ๐Ÿ˜† . Slowly wrapping my head around Affinity Photo. Emphasis on the slowly ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Finding I can make myself crazy doing this โ€œdustโ€ thing. Another image, reworked the dustโ€ฆ. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜‰ Need to click on the image to best see whatโ€™s happening ๐Ÿ‘

I found that tutorial kind ropey but the tips for post-processing were helpful. I attemtpted my own using your render to see what rabbit hole I ended up going down...

If you feed DALL-E AI your render it generates this...

                          ...which is fascinating.

Like yours a bit better Rich. Hard to decide how big to make the โ€œdust dotsโ€ and just how much coverage. Reworked the light rays in my last two tries. Think I would have been better leaving them as is. I can see this sucking me deep down that rabbit hole. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think Iโ€™m going to quit chasing the rabbit now. Added dust to the more dramatic image. Think Iโ€™ll stop now ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ˜Ž
