Problem exporting PDF from Layout
-
Layout refuses to export drawings to PDF.
That was never an issue before.
Tried this:- Layout off and on
- PC off and on
- Reduced filesize: kept only 2 pages with architectural drawings
- Layers with dimension off, with text off and with both off
- Removed dimension, removed text, removed both
Other drawing without text can be exported to PDF as normal.
Still working with Sketchup and Layout 2018.. while more recent versions are available (and paid for)... no time for the learning curve to change and waiting for an other OS before installing the new versions.
As always: I need the PDF's and it is urgent.
Who recognizes this problem? What is the cause?
What is the solution? -
I have seen some cases where some content--maybe text, maybe an image--has some issue. I've also seen cases where something like a tree or plant component from the 3D Warehouse added to the SketchUp model. Share the LayOut file so we can see what you've got. Might be possible to fix it up.

Dave,
Can I share the LayOut file in a private message to you?
If not, can you assure me I can remove the drawings later this morning?
The architectural drawings are, of course, private and only for my client. -
Problem seems to be solved! Finaly.
Found this in 'Taakbeheer': 'Sketchup does not use a video card - Client software general - GoT - CleanerBrowser'. ComboCleaner, a program I have never installed, was causing the problem.
ComboCleaner is now inactive and Layout makes normal PDF's. -

Good deal.
FWIW, SketchUp does use a graphics card.
You could have sent the LO file in a private message however I guess that's moot now.

Thanks, that is kind!
Probably I will need to ask you for your advice for future problems... -
Hello Dave,
Problem is not solved.
What can cause the problem?
I can't send you a private message because the file is too big: 07-05_ 2022-06-12_BA-B-en-N-2e-VERDIEPING.layout => The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 2 MiB.Kind regards,
Veerle -
When I change 'Hybrid' into 'Raster', I can export the file to PDF.

Upload the file to DropBox and share the link.
