I was going through some old stuf today and came by an old drawing I did quite a few years ago. I was trying to create a very "concepty" drawing. Since it is more common now to see more photorealistic images (apart from Dave and others that do furniture etc). I thought I would post a back to Sketchup roots.

Excellent ! Love to see these β€œsketchy” styles that others do. They definitely have a place in presentations. πŸ‘

Thanks Joke, Tuna πŸ‘ I was very suprised when I came across that old image. Have been trying to better my skills in rendering but this was kind of refreshing. so I did some tweaks so I can include it in my almost all Photorealistic (well kind of πŸ˜‰ work in progress folio. The image below is literaly a skreenshot of my sketchup screen

I often forget what can be done just with SketchUp alone.

                Those look great.

                  Hi,

Did you create a specific style for this?
Did you publish this somewhere maybe? πŸ˜„

HI, no it is the default style. I relied on my analogue rendering skills using marker pens etc at art school, I leveraged on classic industrial design rendering techniques (retro) such as creating artificial perspective construction lines to "loosen it up"

Thanks very much Mike πŸ‘ It seems those skills are not fully appreciated by the management of my present job as a car parking attendant 🀣
