Text not rendering as I am typing

I am running version 21.1.332 and found that as I type text I get little rectangular boxed displayed rather than the text. Once I enter the text it shows up fine. any suggestions please.

Some fonts like Flux Architect (the one you are using) are poorly formed and don't get rendered correctly. This is a problem with the font. You can use a different font while typing and then change the font globally or better, choose a well-made font instead of Flux Architect.

There are quite a number of them out there. Here are a couple I have.

Check out the different fonts you find. Not all of them contain all the glyphs you might need. There are several ways to find out. One is to use Character Map to see.
