      This morning I had an e-mail from a retired naval architect who had come across an old image from a SketchUp model I did of L. Francis Herreshoff's drawing table. Herreshoff was a boat designer and naval architect himself. This table is 9 feet long with one full drawer. It was designed as a knock-down piece held together with tapered pins as wedges.

      Happy to be able to find the model in a backup drive. I refined some curves and banged out the plan with full size patterns for all the curves in LayOut.

              Thanks. Probably made the model in 2008 or 2009. The old hard drive dates it to early 2009 but that might be the last time it was opened and saved before today.
