      Hi,

I have built an objet with FREECAD and saved it to OBJ format. Then, I used it in BRYCE 7.0 ans transformed it to a 3DS file with textures. my file an all the texture are in a same folder. When I want to import this file, it appears in perfect conditions but all the textures have disapeared.

Please, can you explain this bug? Is it oa problem with BRYCE (it works with collada file) or with the 3DS format?

Thanks for your answer and have a good night!

          Hi,
thanks for your answer. I read this article. I made the process but my textures didn't appear in sketchup.

I attach my 3ds file (ZIP compression).

Pehaps you will have an idea....

          Thanks

            Hi Blanchon, hi folks.

This is what I get with SU 2021. I saved it as SU 2017 format.

              Hi Jean,

thanks for the item. I'm going to test it and i'll post the feedback. Can you tell me where the problem was? In your opinion, is it better to use SKTP to built my items in a separate way as you did ?

Thanks again and have a good day in Quabec

et encore merci en français si vous le parlez, depuis La Rochelle
