Locating marks on solid components
-
If you create biscuit or domino components and wish to add centering marks on the component to make it easy to correctly place them, how do you do so without triggering errors when verifying solids? Bool tools and Solid inspector see these as just extraneous lines and delete them.
Thanks

You could change the insertion point of the component as you create it - to be consistently 'centered' or wherever you desire... ?
Alternatively add a guide-point at the desired location - these do not adversely affect a component's 'solidity'.
Edge-less lines or groups within a component will prevent it reporting as a 'solid'... -
I've used what TIG suggests with component axis placement for a long time. This is from more than 10 years showing that process. I've revised the process a bit since then. Now I use Eneroth Trim with a solid biscuit cutter component and then replace the cutter with the biscuit.
