I am stumped at modelling this wonderful sculptural lamp piece from Ross Lovegrove!

Just now use Joint Push Pull = you have your lava Lamp !

@ Alvis - Prima! it never occurrs to me to edit polygonal lines (instead of always meshes) with Vertex Tools -
