Hi All, I was wondering of someone could recommend a good "Soften" style, style. I have sent my drawing to Layout to make some Construction Documents. The Images are Quite Color Intense. In stead of going back and tweek each material color individually, I would like to apply a style that would gently "Pastel" the colors so the are subtle, but still pop a little compared to just a black and white image.
      Thanks !!!

I don't know a particular style for that, but you can just take a white image--just a png or jpg that is all white, and place in a style as watermark in front of the model. Tile it so it covers the camera in whatever scene you have and adjust the mix in the watermark style tab, to get the level of translucency you like.

Adjusting shading level in the shadow dialog can help sometimes.

You can use a similar transparent object overlay in LayOut for the same effect. I find that pdfs out of layout and the right choice of colors and lighting generally look better than straight SketchUp output anyway.

Have you tried using 'fog' in the sketchup scene? I like to add fog to give a sense of depth to drawings in layout. The fog also softens, just like adding a translucent white watermark, but you get the added bonus of being able tweak depth of field with fog settings.
