Hi. I'm new to dynamic components.

I'm trying to model a cam motion, with a follower rod that would rise and and fall back down with a single click. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do such a thing.

The only alternative I've been able to come up with is to have the cam do a half-rotation of 180 degrees per click so that it tracks the position of the follower rod. It's not the ideal solution.

      Can anyone help? Thank you!

did not see your post until today, after a bit of research on cams, (not my field, I'm carpenter and estimator)

need only the rotation and the formula does the rest
