Hi fredo6
Great plugin, thanks. For a complete set, it would be useful to add similar functions...

This plug is apparently abandoned. These tools help a lot in complex scenes.
Here it was upgraded for SU2020...

Many do not even know about its existence
Give these tools a new life! Your plugin is perfect for this, thanks. -

I suggest you contact the author of VisTools (Dan Rathbun). He is still very active in Sketchup and post frequently on the Sketchup forum.
-
In any case, this would be a different plugin than MrHide, which is really dedicated to toggling visibility for items which are buried in the Sketchup UI.

I have a "Vistools" plugin that works in SU2020. It was just a small suggestion to use all available tools "hide/show" in one plugin.

Hi fredo6
Unless I can't read, I find it interesting that there is no "Hide" tool, that you have to go to the context menu. It would be nice if the first button was the "Hide" tool.
Otherwise, I like how all the tools are in one location.
Thanks for the very professional work you have done for the Sketchup group.
-
Fredo, this plugin is so incredibly useful to me! Thank you ever so much for your incredible work!
It would also be totally rad if we had icons for Edges and Profiles.
-
Just wanted to echo the appreciation for this plugin — and for your incredible contributions generally! I downloaded it yesterday and it's already saving me time and clicks showing and hiding.
Many thanks!

Holy crap, you guys actually did it! Thank you so, so much. This is a godsend as I'm constantly turning edges/profiles on/off in my workflow for certain projects, and I have a problem with my left arm where it's uncomfortable to move it around too much while working so I don't use many keyboard shortcuts and must rely on icons.

I have a similar problem with my left shoulder; an artificial shoulder that has seen its last days. Quite painful and disabilitating at times.
Ah, man, I'm so sorry to hear that, JC. Hope there's a solution for that problem.
Mine is far less serious than yours. My left elbow is a bit wonky from years of resting it on an uncomfortable surface while working at the computer, and if I have to lift it up too much to reach for any shortcuts that aren't in the general left ctrl area, the pain starts to build up so I use only the very basic shortcuts.Once again, thank you for your work on this plugin!

This is one of those extensions you think to yourself:" Self, nah, this functionality is already there, just clutter." Then you remember who the author is and think to yourself: "Self, you extensions snorting hippie, let's try it out." Now it is one of those extensions that you're soooo thankful for, saving you time and effort from the get-go.

Bonjour Fredo
