      Hello there πŸ˜„

I'm regularly using the"union" command to merge two volumes.
At the beginning I have my two groups, I use the "union" command and then everyhting merge together and I have only one groupe although I would need the two of them...

For exemple a slanted roof merging with a column. I need the correct intersection between the two volumes but I need a group for the roof as well as a group for the column..

Is this doable ? is there a plugin for that please ?

      Thank you very much πŸ˜„

So if I understand you correctly, you want to trim the top of the column to match the angle of the roof and you still want them to be separate groups? Then Union is clearly the wrong tool for the job. Instead, use Trim and trim the column with the roof.

There may be other tools for this, in fact I'm pretty sure there has to be.
