I am having an issue with the Follow Me Tool (FM). I am trying to model a light bulb, but only a quarter of it as I will be adding to it and then copying and combining the 4 quarters.
I have modeled the profile of the bulb and added the radius I want the bulb to follow.
When running the FM, it does not provide a perfect quarter bulb. There is a notch in the center of the bulb, plus the tool seems to "lift up" the profile that was originally flat.

I'm hoping I explained this well enough and hoping that the image below sheds light on my issue. Any feedback helps. Thank you.

Follow Me requires that the first segment of the path be perpendicular to the profile to be extruded and the extrusion will end perpendicular to the last segment in the path. If the first segment isn't perpendicular to the profile, Follow Me projects the profile to perpendicular.

If you look at the segments in the arc you are using as the path, you will see that the ends are perpendicular to where you want the profile to start and end.

An easy way to do get the path established correctly is to use a circle. Rotate it so an edge is perpendicular to the profile and then draw radii from the midpoints to quarter the circle.
